Following last year’s fantastically received event, the Drive-In Cinema returns to Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, South Shields for 2016.

Once your car is parked customers may head to the catering kiosks where we will be offering a selection of your favourite cinema foods and snacks including; hot dogs, popcorn and nachos as well as soft drinks or hot drinks. All items will be clearly priced at the kiosks.
Food kiosks will only accept cash on movie nights and close at 7.30pm.
Segedunum Fireworks at the Fort – Thursday 3rd November
Remember, remember the fifth of November – Gunpowder, treason and plot!
Bring your oohs and aahs to fireworks at the fort and see the night sky over the River Tyne light up where the iconic Swan Hunter would launch its ships.
As well as the firework extravaganza, why not explore the museum exhibits or have a bite to eat in the cafe before choosing the best spot outside to watch the display at 6.30pm?
Entry to the museum and cafe is free from 4pm.
Fireworks from 6:30pm.

Erin Rae & The Meanwhiles + Tom Blackwell – 4th November 8.00pm
The wonderful Erin Rae makes her first visit to the UK from Nashville, Tennessee to promote her debut album, Soon Enough. Already picking up huge praise in the US and emerging as one of the young trailblazers of the country roots scene, Rae is set for very big things.
Tom Blackwell is a pure country soul singer and songwriter just making waves.
Live Theatre, Studio Theatre, Broad Chare, Quayside, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear, NE1 3DQ. Located on the third floor, which is accessible via the lift and stairs, this space offers a flexible mix of tables and free standing chairs or simply rows of chairs according to event. Please note that seats are unreserved – audience members choose a seat(s) on the night, ticket numbers do not refer to a particular seat.

The Argie Bhaji…Curry Battle
Join Wylam Brewery for The Hottest Battle In Town…
8 Curry Vendors go toe to toe for a spice filled bonfire weekend of foody goodness.
Friday 4 November: The battle will commence at 5pm.
Saturday 5 November: The Argie Bhaji… Curry Battle begins at midday and will include the burning of the guy and fireworks.

On Saturday November 5th, Metro Radio will be heading to Saltwell Park, Gateshead again to host a Firework Spectacular with intu Metrocentre ‘putting the sparkle into your shopping for 30 years’, and they’d love you to join them for another great night!

They’ve got live music and entertainment as well as performances from intu Metrognomes and the best emerging North East talent.

This year they’ll be celebrating intu Metrocentre’s 30th Birthday so they’ve added in a fairground area and a huge bonfire which will be lit before the firework display. Not only that there is some great prizes from intu Metrocentre up for grabs and if you take your ticket or wristband to one of their customer services desks on the 12th or 13th of November you will be entered into a draw to win a £1,000 intu shopping voucher.
