We’ve got a mix of culture, club nights, pop-ups and parties, with something for everyone.

Friday 26th – Monday 29th August

One of the biggest events in the North East’s calendar we could not ignore this unique experience!  So get in touch with your inner pirate for a Tall Ships extravaganza.

Visitors to the North Sea Tall Ships Regatta can enjoy four days of free family entertainment across the Bank Holiday weekend.  Up to 30 Tall Ships will dock into the Port of Blyth for from Friday, August 26th until Monday August 29th before setting sail on a 500 nautical mile race to Gothenburg in Sweden.

You can go on board many of the ships to explore and learn about life aboard.  A range of entertainment will be spread throughout the town and quay with everything from fairground rides, to family fun in Ridley Park, to sandcastles on the beach.  There will be four stages of live entertainment at venues across the town including the two main areas at the Dun Cow Quay and Market Place, plus the beach amphitheatre and bandstand providing smaller alternatives.

The entire port and seafront area will play host to the best of Northumberland’s music and street theatre performers.  You can catch The Salts on Friday 26th August, from 8.00pm at the Dun Cow Stage.
