Getting to the Ground

Kingston Park Stadium,

The ground is only 5 miles from Newcastle city centre, 3 miles from Newcastle International Airport, a 2 minute drive from the A1 and a 5 minute walk from Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations. 


By Car

From the A1

  • Take the Airport exit
  • At the roundabout take the exit signposted for Kingston Park
  • Go straight over two roundabouts, under the Metro bridge and take the first right onto Brunton Road
  • After 400 metres the stadium is on your left

On non-match days there is ample free parking at the stadium.  However, on first-team match days parking is limited and comes with a charge.  We strongly recommend booking in advance.

Local parking restrictions are in place on the surrounding streets, meaning that anyone parking on the main road or in the housing estates near to Kingston Park Stadium will receive a parking ticket. 

Park and ride facilities are available at a number of local Metro stations, offering all-day parking. Stations offering park and ride include:

  • Bank Foot (within walking distance of the ground)
  • Kingston Park (within walking distance of the ground)
  • Callerton Parkway
  • Heworth
  • Northumberland Park

By Train

Newcastle is easy to reach by train and the ground is only a short Metro ride and then a 5 minute walk from the Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations.

For those travelling via train arriving at Newcastle Central Station, the Metro is the easiest way in which to get to the stadium.  Central Station has its own Metro station.  Take the trains headed for ‘Airport’ and get off at Kingston Park station (10 stops from Central Station).  Once there it is a 5 minute walk from the station.

By Metro

Newcastle upon Tyne is served by the Tyne & Wear Metro system.  With frequent services between Newcastle Airport, Newcastle city centre, the coast, major transport interchanges and destinations south to Wearside.



By Bus

Local bus services operate in the Kingston Park area, with connections including the X47 to and from Newcastle city centre.
