It has be be the biggest fight of the century and one definitely not to miss. UFC meets Boxing head-on in what has to be the most hyped and anticipated fight in recent years.
It all kicks off on Saturday 26th August 2017, Floyd Mayweather Jr. out of retirement for this fight, with his 49 – 0 record on the line! Connor McGregor has made the switch from UFC to Boxing just for this fight! It promises to be an epic affair, with the tempers already flaring as they headline four press conferences in four cities in just four days. It is like something out of a Rocky film, with everything at stake in one of the highest paid fights of all time. So where to watch it?

Located in the historic Newcastle Brewery and equipped with 32 HDTVs, the Shark Club in Newcastle is the ultimate destination for sports entertainment.
Shark Club sports bar and grill are well-known for their coverage of sports, including UFC and Boxing, and it comes as no surprise they will be showing the $1 Billion fight. They are taking bookings now and are expecting to be sold out within the month so don’t hang about!
There will be ticketed standing lanyards for those who aren’t in groups or wish to come for the event. They will release our lanyards within the coming weeks. Located in The Gate complex – Newgate Street, this popular venue has a vast casino with 3 gaming floors, 200-seat poker room, eclectic restaurant and 30-screen sports bar.
Aspers Sports Bar is one of Newcastle’s premier sports venues and a great place to catch all of the action of Floyd Mayweather v Colin McGregor live on Saturday 26th August. This is the first of it’s kind fight as McGregor steps out of the cage and into the boxing ring against the undisputed Mayweather.
The Sports Bar has 2 ticket options for this upcoming bout, with £5 Standing and £8 seating with projector viewing available at the cash desk. Aspers Sports Bar has 30 individual multi-media screens, plus a wall to wall 156” HD screen showing live sports events from around the world. With a stylish bar area serving drinks and a great selection of food, you can catch all of the live sport on one of the largest screens in Newcastle while you eat and drink with ease.
They serve some good and reasonably priced bar food with all the usual suspects such as BBQ Chicken Wings, Popcorn Chicken, Hot Dogs and Burgers. If bar food is not your thing you can also grab a bite to eat in Freya’s Restaurant before hand and even have a bet or two in the casino.
