Bonbar is Newcastle’s premier bar, restaurant and late lounge located in the heart of the iconic Assembly Rooms building a just short walk from Central Station.

As well as some excellent drinks packages with it’s ten stylish and elegant booths Bonbar offers a spacious yet welcoming environment for daytime and evening restaurant dining, drinks or a late night out complete with on weekends and occasional live music.

There are 10 Booths available in Bonbar which can seat up to 10 guests and all have a fantastic view across the room including the stage and dance floor area.  The booths in Bonbar do not have a minimum spend prior to 11pm and can be reserved for up to 2 hours.  Drinks packages are also available.

On a Saturday evening after 11pm booths have a minimum spend and table charge from £440 to £770  per booth (Prices may be subject to change).

 In this instance your booking will comprise of an exclusive booth, free priority entry for up to 10 guests and host service for the evening.  The booth is yours for the duration of your stay.  Your table will be available from 11pm and you must arrive before midnight.

All booth service after 11pm is dependent on a minimum spend with purchase from the bottle to booth menu.

If you would like to pre order your drinks please advise 24 hours before your visit.

To make your booking (booths for after 11pm or drinks packages pre ordered prior to 10pm) we require a 20% deposit of your total minimum drinks spend.  This can be paid over the phone using either a credit or debit card.

Terms and Conditions

Minimum spends per booth will be fluctuate based on when you book and which area you choose.

All weekend booth service post 11pm is dependent on minimum spends from bottle to booth service menu and any additional drinks will be charged on top of this.

All table bookings are subject to a 10% table charge.

The party organiser will be required to leave a credit / debit card on arrival; this will be stored in our secure card holder.  This card will not be charged unless advised or an alternative payment method is used.

We require all your parties’ names for our guest list and guests are required to bring valid ID (passport/driving license).

Deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or refusal of entry.  Deposit is non transferrable.

Bonbar’s dress code is smart, no fancy dress. Members are advised to exercise discretion with their attire. Admission may not be granted if inappropriately dressed.


Code of Conduct

Bonbar maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy against aggressive behaviour, violence, threats and derogatory behaviour towards all members if staff in and outside the premises.  Irresponsible drinking will not be tolerated and those who are deemed to be overly intoxicated upon arrival may be refused admission.  Drug taking is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.  If you do not adhere to Bonbar’s Code of Conduct you will be removed and refused future admission to the venue.  Your minimum spend will be forfeited if you are asked to leave for any violation of the Code of Conduct.  Any damages from your guests will be charged to the party organiser.
