Turtle Bay Eating and drinking is at the heart and soul of the Caribbean Island culture and at Turtle Bay they aim to capture the essence of this way of life and the great food that evolves there! They serve a great selection of Caribbean food.  A must for spice lovers they serve succulent authentic jerk dishes marinated with herbs and spices, all flame grilled to order over a pit grill. Rum is tropical Caribbean sunshine, bottled, and has been intricately woven into the rich history and culture of the islands for centuries, this is celebrated at Turtle Bay with over 40 rums sourced from across the Caribbean, perfect for sipping and cocktails. Situated on Newgate Street near Newcastle’s The Gate leisure complex they are easy to get to and proves to be a popular choice with both locals and tourists alike. On busy Friday and Saturday evenings their maximum table size is 8 people, and up to 18 people during the week.  They do this to ensure that they are able to serve the freshest food with the best possible service, without upsetting other guests.  They keep their counter seating free for walk-in diners, so there may be availability even if you are unable to book online. Unfortunately they cannot accommodate hen & stag parties.
