  • Crockets Hotel

    Crockets Hotel The Crockets Hotel is a traditional pub located in the town of Walker.   They serve a full selection of draught beers, wines and spirits.  The pubs cosy friendly atmosphere makes it a great place for family and friends to drop in for a quiet drink. Large beer garden, peaceful place for parents to relax with a nice refreshing drink, whilst there children enjoy playing safely in the pubs play area.  There is also disabled facilities and a car park on the premises , making this pub easy accessible for all. Ideal for sports fans they show all the games on the pubs three plasma screens. Jukebox, Pool tables, Snooker tables and the dart boards. Live music nights and karaoke nights held there regularly.  The pub is particularly popular over lunchtime and Sundays with its delicious home cooked food being served all day everyday.  Also available to hire the pubs function room for special occasions such as birthdays, funerals and weddings, which can accommodate up to 60 guests at a time, accomodation is available for guests who are wishing to stay over night. They have a restaurant attached called CC Cabanas, serving a wide range of cultured foods from sharing tapas,pizza pasta to filet steak.  

  • Yates

    Yates  Families, sports fans, shopaholics, travellers, party-goers.  Yates Newcastle has something for pretty much everyone.  Located a stone’s throw from Newcastle Central rail station and another stone’s throw from the main city shopping centre, they’re a great value central location where everything is at your fingertips.     The Strawberry Pub – have a pre match pint in one of the oldest pubs in Newcastle. The Strawberry pub is one of the oldest and much loved pubs in Newcastle.  Serving a canny pint they are situated right across from Newcastle’s famous St.James Park, and provides a perfect location for a pre match pint in the heart of the city. This fun traditional bar is one of the most popular pubs in Newcastle on match day and a great way to experience the proper Geordie football experience, packed full of passion, history and charm.   Good food, local beers, top craic are all on the menu at this historic bar.     Newcastle’s newest sports bar and lounge, NINE, is now open daily from 10am (11am Sunday). One of the more popular bars in Newcastle NINE offers an extensive cocktail list, high quality food and contemporary surroundings, NINE is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely lunch or party the night away. With a varied wine list and drinks offers including branded doubles for £3.20 and cocktail jugs from £9.95, NINE offers something for everyone.     THE MILE CASTLE The Mile Castle is a large JD Wetherspoons Lloyds No 1 bar set over three floors. Regular music is on play at most times with a dance floor at the rear of the ground floor and on the upper levels. There are several widescreen TV’s showing videos.  The bar will be a very popular addition to the Central Station area and will appeal to a mixed clientele of students, locals, business crowd and tourists.  It can be very busy at all times especially at the weekend and on Thursday Curry night.  As a Wetherspoon’s it goes to say they provide excellent value for money when it comes to food and drink.  There is a small outside seating area open until 6pm that is used for smoking.
