To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Oxjam Festival, the Oxjam Newcastle Takeover team put on a 3- day festival between the 14th-16th of October.
Over the 3 days over 60 bands and 12 venues took part of this years Oxjam Takeover – an event run entirely by volunteers seeking to raise money for Oxfam, in order to help them with the great work they do. The festival closed to a draw with 12 hours of Music in Ouseburn this Sunday. With The Cluny, Cluny 2, The Cumberland Arms, Ernest and The Tower, all taking part of this year’s Ouseburn Takeover.
Nights Out In Newcastle popped along to do our bit and check out the great selection of local bands.
All in all it was a great night for an amazing cause.
